CompX International Inc. (NYSE Amex:CIX) is a leading manufacturer of:
- Locking systems for a wide variety of applications such as office furniture, cabinetry, motorcycles, postal boxes, vending machines, and computers;
- Precision ball bearing slides for office furniture, appliances, tool boxes, ATM's and server racks;
- Ergonomic computer support products including keyboard arms and flat panel monitor mounts; and
- Gauges and exhaust systems for high-performance boats.
CompX products are principally designed for use in medium to high-end applications where product design, quality, and durability are critical to the functionality of our customers' products enabling them to compete more effectively in the markets that they serve.

Currently, the company has three operating units:- CompX Security Products, which includes CompX National, CompX Fort, CompX Timberline, and CompX Chicago.
- CompX Marine, which includes Custom Marine Inc. and Livorsi Marine, Inc.
- CompX Furniture Components, which includes CompX ErgonomX and CompX Precision Slides.

Corporate Development
CompX International has grown over its 100+ year history through introduction of new products, identification of new applications for our products and acquisition of component manufacturers. The CompX Corporate Development team explores acquisitions consistent with our presence in the security products, furniture components and marine markets as well as other component business markets.
